Great spot for a beer in the back of this barber shop. Staff was friendly and the menus are easy to read and browse from (all on paper). A lot of seating which was good for my group of 7 people. I'll be back when I'm in Cold Spring again!

Great little hidden spot behind the barbershop. Friendly staff great selection of beer drinks and small plates will definitely have to go back to try more stuff I had the agave wine Margarita and it was to die for!
This was our second time here. During our first trip to Cold Spring in 2017 we stopped here in between shopping on Main Street and loved the mixed atmosphere of barber shop and bar! Today we found ourselves on an impromptu trip to Cold Spring during the long Thanksgiving weekend and had to stop by for another drink while we waited for lunch reservations to open up. The woman behind the bar was friendly and sweet and more than willing to allow us to sample a few on tap options before we finally committed to the Dark Hollow and Second Fiddle. They also have bottled beer options as well as wine. There is plenty of seating at the bar, as well as some tables and chairs. Sit back, order a drink, and enjoy the ambience. Thanks for a solid time every time!
Highly recommend a haircut here by Melissa. Went in last week and am still enjoying her work on my head.
We also popped in after hiking. Originally heading to Doug's -- it was full and Doug himself recommended this place. I was expecting much from this place -- Let's be real, it's a clone of Blind Barber. Places outside of NYC are always 10+ years late to the trend. But I was so pleasantly surprised I could slap myself in the face. The most important part is -- pricing. The prices were FABOLOUS. Really average/slightly below average for what it could have been. I was so pleased. The bartenders were quick and friendly. We got into a tiny argument about drafts and when they realized their mistake they just gave us a free pint. The area in the back is small, but soothing. It's very hipster-esque which is exactly what they're going for I suppose. But let's not stress. I really had a fabulous time and would just go hiking to head back to this place.
Had a great beard shape/sculpt by Chris. Absolutely love this place. Old school style barber shop with a really cool bar in the back. Very comfortable seating with a great beer (can & draught) will definitely return !!! Prices are reasonable also. Saw a selection of a bunch of board games so you can have a beer, play a game to kill time while you wait. Great concept!
Came here after hiking the routes. So glad we popped in. The bartender knows this stuff but wasn't uber snobby about it like some spots I've gone to. And I really do when bartenders are open to your pallet and share their faves with you. So yeah, good beer selections, fine music, super chill vibe. All about it. Will be back for more!
